New Grad RN Residency Program


Are you a registered nurse graduate seeking a dynamic and enriching RN residency program? Jefferson Healthcare is committed to providing exceptional and comprehensive transition-to-practice experience for registered nurse graduating in 2026. Our RN Residency Program is a 12-month program that includes clinical experiences with didactic education, simulations, and individualized support from experienced nurse educators. This support will prepare and nurture novice nurses to provide excellent care for our community's patients.

What can you expect?

  • 12-16 weeks of orientation under 1:1 direct supervision of a trained preceptor
  • Ongoing, regular support and follow-up from nurse educators for the first 12 months
  • Smaller cohort sizes for more individualized support

What you'll need for the program:

  • WA State RN license in good standing
  • AHA BLS/CPR certification required.
  • ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire, depending on the department.
  • NIHSS certification is required within 6 months of hire, depending on the department.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
