Jefferson Healthcare is looking for a temporary Patient Account Representative I to join our team! In this on site role, you will be a critical part of the larger finance team and is responsible for reviewing patient account information to ensure accurate and timely billing and collection follow-up efforts. This position will focus on patient balances, including the handling of inquiries, information updates, payments, correspondence, balance review and reconciliation, and referring patients to Financial Counselors as needed. This position will also handle filing and assist with cash posting processes. Administrative & clerical skills along with strong attention to detail will make this a great fit for your work style.

What you'll need:

• High school graduate or GED equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of college or business education is preferred
• Ability to write and be verbally fluent in medical terminology required
• Previous office experience preferred
• Hospital accounts receivable and insurance experience preferred

Schedule: 1.0 FTE; 40 hours/week; Day Shift; No weekends!
