Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a full-time experienced Cook to join our team. We are committed to serving our community through the meals we provide to our patients, staff, and the wider community. As a Cook, you will play a vital role within the Food & Nutrition Team, preparing meals for the patients and staff of Jefferson Healthcare. Additionally, you will be responsible for a variety of food preparation tasks, cooking, conducting quality control checks, and implementing infection control techniques. What you'll need:

  • High school education or GED preferred
  • Formal culinary education/degree preferred
  • Active and current Food Handler's Permit required
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License and proof of insurance
  • Two years of kitchen experience preferred
  • Must stay current in proper food handling knowledge and meet any Hospital mandated education requirements associated with this position

Schedule: 1.0 FTE; 40 hours/week; Variable shift
