Jefferson Healthcare (www.jeffersonhealthcare.org) is seeking a full time RN Supervisor to join our Port Ludlow and South County family medicine clinics and primary care leadership team. This clinical nurse supervisor, reporting to the Practice Manager, will be the supervisor for the clinical staff at both our Port Ludlow clinic and South County (Quilcene) clinic and will collaborate within and across clinics to provide day to day supervision and work on workflows. While not regularly required, this leader might also step in to patient care if staffing requires it.

This is a full time, exempt position, and will remain open until filled. This position is also eligible for a recruitment bonus upon hire.
Qualifications:
- Current Washington state RN license required in good standing
- AA required, BSN is preferred
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required
- 3 years of progressively more responsible experience in a medical office
- 2 years' leadership/supervisory experience preferred
- Epic experience

Responsibilities (please refer to the job description for full list):
- Supervise assigned staff, including but not limited to medical assistants, licensed practical nurses,
registered nurses including recruitment, hiring, orientation, training, coaching, and skills
development, completion of annual evaluations, retention and discipline. - Assists Practice Manager in strategic planning, budget projections, and other business-related
initiatives. - Leads regular direct report staff meetings and one-on-ones.
- Practice Manager as first-in-line to resolve patient complaints.
- Proactively and systematically approach problems from the mindset of standardizing work across
the clinic and across the organization while being mindful of impact on others and to the system. - Assists in integrating back office work with that of clinic staff, including front desk staff and
providers. - Evaluates nursing activities to ensure patient care, staff relations, and efficiency of services.
- Partners with Clinical Manager to development of nursing standards as agreed upon by the
Practice Manager, Medical Director, Clinical Manager. - Oversees quality assurance in the clinic to ensure that all clinical standards are met.
- Partners with Clinic Manager and Clinical Manager to assist in the execution of processes,
procedures and practices that support efficient and effective clinical operations. - Assists in the management of patient workflow and throughput.
- Develops in collaboration with the Practice Manager, adequate staffing model in relation to
provider schedules and patient flow. - Establishes guidelines and creates schedules based off of clinic volumes and provider schedules
to ensure efficient and cost-effective staffing support. - Tracks timesheets and scheduling/coordinating of staff for all leaves to include PTO, sick time and
FMLA.
