RN Manager - Medical Group

Jefferson Healthcare (www.jeffersonhealthcare.org) has a new opportunity for a technically skilled and leadership experienced Nurse (RN) Manager to join our medical group leadership team. As the RN Manager, you will be responsible for the nursing practice of the medical group and have oversight and drive the mission of the nurse triage team and Care Coordination team. You'll also coordinate and direct the clinical activities of assigned clinics. Education and competencies knowledge are ideal, as the RN manager will support the education of the staff.

Ambulatory experience is strongly preferred for this particular RN Manager. Experience and a willingness to work with clinical informatics is ideal and experience with writing, reviewing and updating policies is also ideal. Travel between clinics within Port Townsend and East Jefferson County (Port Ludlow and Quilcene) will be required.

Qualifications:

  • Current Washington State RN license in good standing
  • Current CPR/BLS (Healthcare Provider) required and ACLS preferred (may be required)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
  • 3 years of experience as RN
  • Specialty areas may require additional experience and certifications
  • Previous healthcare supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities (please refer to the job description for full list):

  • Rounding throughout all clinics promotes continuity of care for patients and Jefferson Healthcare's Model of Care in coordination with clinic leadership
  • Seeks out and takes advantage of opportunities to collaborate in order to streamline, consolidate, restructure, and preserve resources
  • Provides training and orientation to staff members
  • Resource for clinical staff development including scheduling required training, Epic upgrades and monitoring continuing education
  • Develop and ensures documentation standards are followed
  • Acts as nursing liaison between the Medical Group and all other areas of Jefferson Healthcare
  • Works collaboratively and interfaces with nursing and the CNO as needed
  • Monitors quality assurance compliance
  • Develops policies and procedures based on evidence-based practice
  • Develops program components with Practice Manager and education team
